My computer is from 2003 or something (except for my GFX, I had a 6800GT before =P)... Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz, 7600GT AGP 256MB, 3GB RAM... My keyboard is from 1999 (KeyTronic), and my mouse is Microsoft Standard Wireless Optical Mouse

Nah it's not, first off because it can't be upgraded, second because it's unbalanced, and third because supplanting a 6800gt by a 7600gt is ridiculous. There's worse though and as long as it can play sam... the freak be happy

I only did this because the fan on the 6800GT broke, and AGP cards are cheap these days

agp you can chose the 3850 that is still a great card or the rare 1950 produal but if you want play only sam or css i think 7600gt is awesome Xd

Yeah the x1950pro is synonymous with a very good upgrade for old agp-based systems, and so is the 7950GT. But it's not true what he said, agp cards, because rare, are usually priced higher than their PCI-E twin

yes is true but its the only way or he must change cpu and motherboard ant i think is more expensive

ps: produal is a version with 2 gpu, 2 1950pro in only 1 slot its rare but its similar to 8800gt

Yes, PCI-e cards are cheaper, but I bought it for like 60€, you cant call that expensive (or maybe you can)

Its really unnecessary to buy a better card, the only games I play are SS, CS 1.6/Source, Quake 3/4, and some other old games...
