It's a very harmless word in my opinion. Of course it refers to "newbies" but still I don't consider it a trash word.. You can call me n00b anyt time and I won't mind.

dunno if we have ever played, but lets say we havent, and i came in a map with u and there was only u and me alone. then i kill u 7 times straight fast, and i call u noob and i leave. i bet ur face would look like-->
its really about how and to whom u say it isn't it. if someone i like calls me noob when i frag him it means 'nice frag', if someone i dont know or dont like calls me noob i probably wouldnt like it.

Btw...obviously every trash word can be interpreted in different ways depending on whether you have confidence or not.. for you Petter this is a trash word. So now i wanna ask you all onother question, if is really a trash word...damn what does it mean? and what value? Every trash word is different by others, and not all words can be offensive in the same way...
