That is your body. Cant prove existence of a soul, but, if it does exist, then it surely goes somewhere.
I actually changed my mind a bit. I dont believe all of this was created from some one explosion... if we have to take a theory about some "God" created us. Then to believe he would create an almost infinite amount of different personalities? Nah, too much work. Its much more easier to create a certain amount of it, then after one body dies, the soul, recording its previous personality somehow goes to another body, changing a bit. Hence the evolution happenned. This are my theory solely.
Hint: side effect from recording a personality nullifies your memory. But sometimes you are having a strong feeling some moment felt like it happenned before with you. Deja vu effect? But its more referring to parallell universes... so many things to believe. No wonder science doesnt have an answer yet. Who dies, cant tell from another side. And all those mediums, claiming that they are talking with dead. Yeah, if you talk with dead people, then ask him what is happening with you after ur brain stops functioning? And heart stops to beat? No answer ofc, just sharlatans, making money on other people's sad fate.
