Damn if serious sam would have been created on 2006, there wouldn't be no one whining about lags
Here is what I would like to see in the MOD :
Smoothing algorithms for enemy player position prediction. (Minimising the impact of ping)
A large bullet spread radius for the minigun.
A kick-up recoil effect for shotguns.
A visible bullet trail for the sniper.
An increased ROF for the flamethrower, as well as range and firing velocity, but reduced damage factor.
A kick back effect for the Cannon, firing it would push players back a good 5-15 metres.
Regen, Hazard Suit and Haste powerups replacing the Invuln, Invis and Serious Speed powerups. (A nod to Quake 3)
Useable items like Teleport and Medpack
A Rocket Arena mode that gives the players everything that could normally be picked up in the map, (Except powerups) but removes all of said items from the map.
A class-set that can be activated in team teathmatch and gives players different movement speeds, max health and weapon loadouts based on what class they choose.

1) Impossible without the netcode source , I already said it in the other thread
2) Actually petter was joking about that in the shoutbox two days ago, maybe you should start a poll
3) There's no way this will be accepted and I'm serious , 90% of current sam players are shotgun freaks and would never agree with that
4) Isn't the bullet trail already visible ?
5) Not a bad idea , especially the damage reducing part
6) There's no more cannon in this MOD , it's been replaced by a new plasma gun
7) I gotta test it in Quake 3
8) I was thinking about teleport last time , especially cuz there's already a teleporting item in sam, ask the mappers

10) Probably in another mod we're not doing team fortress

i would like to see
1-if player dies then he drops a backpack with all the ammo that he had not just a rocket that gives 5 ammo : /
2- reduced shotty DMG
3-new maps
4-you run faster with chainsaw ( just like a knife) but reduce dmg
5- no cannon in this mode??...k nvm then

Yeah if I had like a month to make the mod
What I'm planning to do is that : adding/editing a few maps , release the working MOD.
If people play it, We'll talk about new features including a capture the flag game type
