    Help with Install

    Hi, you write :
    ################################################## #######
    - INSTALLATION --
Extract it to some folder. For example C:\ServerGUI. Then, make a shortcut on your desktop to C:\ServerGUI\gui.exe. Change it so it will be:

    "C:\ServerGUI\gui.exe" PathToSeriousSam=+=DedicatedScriptName

Then double click the shortcut. You will get a message box what you have to do next. Open your Init.ini and append the following lines:
    ################################################## #######

    what should i write in??
    like this :
    "C:\serious netstable\Bin\gui.exe" c:\program files (x86)\croteam\The second encounter=+=dedicated_startup.ini

didn't know, all i tried ends with error screens...

    thx and best regards
    karsten

No, the second argument is wrong. The second argument (after the =+=) must contain the script name. The script name is the name of the folder containing the files to run your server at Scripts\Dedicated.

If your scriptname is called MyServer (the folder name) you put:
    "C:\serious netstable\Bin\gui.exe" c:\program files (x86)\croteam\The second encounter=+=MyServer

    Question

    didn't understand ....

    you write:
"If your scriptname is called MyServer (the folder name) you put: "

What ...... the script or the folder ....it is different, not?

    Example :
    my script call "dedicated_startup.ini"
(it is in folder ...\scripts\ )

    the folder is in ...\scripts\dedicated\defaultfragmatchSE\

hmm, can't understand your answer, can you give me an example within
original install from se, so i hope to understand..

    THX !

it's simply hard to extract the files in the correct folders and is hard to set the scripts ecc.
