iv seen this before. Its not going to hit us Directly but its going to pass Earth extremely close by. Scientists are just worrying that even if it changes its course a little it may have a chance to hit the Earth but thats a low possibility.

The "bomb" you talk is a robot that would fly up to the meteoride and hit it. Then once on the thing i believe it would explode thus breaking the rock in pieces.
