ok i didnt know this but if i understood those links right, u can remote crash 1.05 version. well thats not good BUT u dont need to remote crash 1.07 cause it crashes without reason all the time anyway. furthermore 1.07 has much more additional bugs like u cant reconnect after the level change, server crashes every hour or more, more lags, unstable, higher ping, less smooth than 1.05, serverslot bug(if there r 8/10 players u cant join usually) and so many things that make 1.05 still much better then 1.07. oh and btw i know how to remote crash 1.07 servers, too, with a special tag or binding so even this benefit is gone. i hope u will at least fix some of those bugs but the lag and not smooth gameplay will stay

X fighter, I am trying to fix the 1.07 crash, don't worry about that man. but the 1.05 servers will crash more if someone keeps executing the script doesnt it

well if u can fix that bug thats good but what is with the other bugs i mentioned and the lags? and its true that u can crash both versions remotely. and to crash 1.05 needs more knowledge and i never saw that that happens but 1.07 is easy to crash with a binding or a big name.

The problem is that there are more bugs to fix then, and even if that is just as feasible or easier, there is always a pretty big chance that what was fixed can open up a new security hole, which the 1.05 netcode is prone to having.
PS : I want to see this 1.07 crash script for myself. I am kind of skeptical on the veracity of that claim.

i wont publish it lol. but i understand ur points valerie. i still dont like that 1.05 has less lags then than 1.08 and less bugs cause i wanted to have all the good in 1.08 that everyone uses only this and we have only one used version. r u able to fix all 1.07 server bugs, angelo?

I made scripts for both of these problems X Fighter. Spam Blocker and Big Name auto-kick. I'll look into the spam auto kick script.

great idea!! how about a 1 second delay between messages sent?
that would block bindings, stop spammers and no-one notices anything when they normally chat

oh u r right angelo, lol. this will block bindings, too since a binding r 5 messages in a row. i would say 2 seconds, too. then i wouldnt have to type like crazy to be fast enough anymore lol. best thing would be if u can adjust how long it takes with a command. but it should be at least one second, maybe : /message_delay=(1-5)
