The DM will never be the same as in SS:SE classic. Simply cuz the, in my opinion, unintended speedbonusses will still not be implementated. Combine this with the uninspired Maps from HD and a f*cked up community (blame to those who should be blamed) and the MP "fail" will be there again.

Take a rest, play the SP campaign and move on

yea, this sucks. in quake I have ping 45 but in sam hd above 80 and without prediction it sucks. netcode is too bad for not having the possibility of prediction
