[Help] How to do "High-Jump" ?

Hello everybody,

Been asking in-game, been looking on Google n' Youtube, I can't find any help n' nothing about how to do the "High-Jump".

What do I mean by "High-Jump" well... Exemple you know in Red Station there's a little building with a Rocket Launcher + Health Pack on the top with an armor.

I saw many players getting on the top by doing a jumping trick. The only information I've got so far is "Press Jump n' Crouch" that's it.

If there someone of you able to do it could you help me ? Because I'd really love to learn that usefull move to get some items quickly. It seems simple because in my previous game there was like 6 players doing it on 9.

Do I need a timing for it ? A certain angle ? When players said press Jump + Crouch do I "Hold" them or simply "Press n release" ?

Jump -> Jump -> Crouch -> Jump ? Im all confused... XD

Maybe sending a Serious Sam Recording file could help, I don't know ^^'

Usually if you press jump, you don't need to hold it, you need to hold other buttons, holding jump button won't help.
When you press jump again in mid air and hold it, your player will jump again when he touch the surface.
If you want to jump higher in some places like in red station to get to the top of building, you must press the jump button at the highest point of elevation.
Also jumping on elevation takes you higher than normal jump from flat ground

Simple explanation: edges and corners helps you to bounce and jump high.
When you press jump button exactly when you step on front edge of the any platform in SS, you will fly higher.
Same goes for bouncers.
