I like to use the same sensitivity in all FPS games, got around 28cm for 360 degree turn in CS/Quake ect. Makes things simple

lol, a good mousepad and a good mouse does help your aim comparing to some 3e cheap mouse+mousepad

30 euro mouse + 10 euro mousepad is enough no need for the best things. Better just train in a game (but I don't think I need to say anything about that to mr trouble tourny winner )

ye I can suggest Steelseries QcK for those who don't have a mousepad, it's very good and cheap.. about 10 euros I think.

I didn't of course take Zeo's words bout 100e mouse literally, but a gaming mouse+mousepad is big advantage compared to some 3euros mouses imo

Atleast my aim improved when I got Logitech g400 (I can recommend it too for those who don't have a gaming mouse, 40 euros) though mine broke twice, so using deathadder now, good, but kinda expensive, you could find same quality mouse with less money

For people low on budget I could suggest Gigabyte M6900 3200DPI Mouse with 30G acceleration (costs around 17 euros), 1000Hz polling rate etc. The mouse feels plasticy but has a nice rubber grips and it's pretty big for big-handed "boyz".
I use that mouse in office, I've tried to play with it once and it was really similar to Deathadder 2013... very precise ....but just that plasticy feeling. Razer - 70% you pay for quality.

As for a mousepad, even cheap 3 euro Gembird 450x400 big mousepad does a great job (I've tested it). Maybe the quality is lower than Steelseries QCK+, but if you're on a budget - Gigabyte M6900 + Gembird Gaming Pad 450x400 BIG is the way to go. Overall budget - 20 euros.

@ Zeo, play any other game such CS or UT (or any other anyway) and you will understand why I say that the aim is completely fucked up in these old ss

Dunno why but A4Tech is a really famous brand in Russia, I made a vote and 48 % (15 different Sam players, Capri and Destroyer included) voted that they use A4Tech : D Capri's one works fine since 2007's summer o_O

That Gigabyte's thing looks pretty interesting I might try it once, thanks ^^

About the Razer's quality: maybe I was unlucky but but I've been using Razer Diamondback since August of 2007, in the Febraury of 2009 the left button was almost dead : / I didn't broke it or anything but been playing 8 - 10 hours per a day really : D But it's definitely stupid to judge the brand by 7 years old mouse I gotta agree xD

@ Meta: I'm an UT 2004 (not a pro though, maybe a month per a year) player since 2006 and just bought UT3, doesn't feel that different, seriously xD Same like Q3 ..

Q3 / UT / Sam (games where you use things like Rocket Launcher etc.) = good with the fast sense (look on Sakke though )
CS / BF / CoD = made to be played with low sense

You can't compare Sam to CS ..

Technically talking, Razer has very great products, but about materials and finition, it leaves to desire. These mouses are veeery fragile. I didn't test they latest products (Taipan & Ouroboros) but I think they've understood they had something to fix, the latest DeathAdder seems much better than they older products, same goes to the Goliathus mousepad, a very great product.

I'm still tempted to try SteelSeries though.. might do it asap.

    Roccat: merda merda merda.

If that's true seems like not that much changed

I might buy some "branded" mouse once cos of the design , but I can't know which brand should I prefer .. I'm not really into it nowadays, I even didn't know about any SteelSeries 'til I've seen Chyl's tag

Quake Live (which is basically same as Q3) professionals use about 20cm-55cm for a 360 degree turn in game

Comparing to these other games in my opinion sam has alot worse aim with it's all aim bugs, smoothness.. ect

And yeah, Razer is usually said to be not so durable, however my deathadder has been working well so far

Deathadder 2013 has far better quality than the old deathadders. I mean the "feeling" of plastic etc.

    https://steelseries.com/pl/products/mice/

Sensei, Kinzu and Kana are the most famous Steelseries mice.
Sensei is rated top 5 in many top-mouse benchmarks.
