GZ24 Clan Tournament 2014:
Clans Registration

Ok guys, just like in 2013, we are having 27 positive votes about the new tournament again, which is going to happen on SS: Revolution classic SS: TSE again So like a year ago let's see which clan members voted yes:

5 SGI members
4 Immortals members
4 Saints members
2 TRM members
4 Devils members
2 HellRaizers members
1 Campers member

And 5 clanless members.

But it only can help us to imagine which clans can show up : ) So I guess we're going to have Immortals (I've already added to the clans list), SGI & Devils there. I'm pretty sure Saints and HellRaizers (both are new btw ) will be a part of our tournament too. I also have a huge hope to see Campers, TRM, NapaLm or Molotow

We're gonna make it with 6 or 8 clans. The rules thread (I might forget something, it probably will be edited once a lil) already exists and it's based on an old thread.

To register your clan we just need to see at least 2 members (or one leader) of a clan, confirming in this thread that their (his) clan is ready for a tournament. We're going to use the totally same system & schedule as we had in 2013 (if 8 clans) or in 2012 (if 6 clans, but without any qualify rounds).

So, as a founder of Immortals Clan, I'm officially confirming that we, Immortals, are ready to play.

no chance of playing on old ss? revolution is too bad optimized to handle a tournament imo, old ss is still active and works enormously better. If in revolution, what server will be holding it? since i see no servers actually there.

The only thing I actually dislike in Revolution is it's not possible to downgrade your version to make all the demos work normally. And the thing with the dedicated server, but the update comes soon from what I remember ..

Yeah, to be honest I have no problems to play on classic, but I'd prefer rev, because there's optimized gamemode for teamgames (no need to count any teamkills, ect), anticheat, and for me rev is just smoother than classic, for some it's better, and for some it's worse..

Maybe we would need a vote about this.

Anti cheat is the only reason for why we should play on SS revo. And even though the netcode is totally damaged, i'd rather prefer to play in SS Revo than in old classic.

We only need a real dedicated server having a good upload speed. Maybe it's time to deal with Ostap?

as I can see clans which all members have rev on steam has got an advantage as they can surely play with full squad and have back up in case that somebody wont be able to play. Thats why it should be done in classic untill rev wont be free so everybody can get it.
