So, would you like to play the tournament on Rev or classic?

I myself prefer Rev, because anticheat, customized gamemode for teamgames, and it'd help the activity of Rev, I see no future for classic because of Gamespy closing.

Anyway I know that for some Rev isn't working well, so they prefer classic.

who use hacks on CT2013? nobody. and i sure, that no one will try to use it on CT2014, if it will in classic.

Besides those known arguments pro Revolution so far, I don't see a future for classic Sam. In Revolution, we can reach a higher attention (not least because of Steam and the DM group) for these tournaments and make people recognizing what's going on and there is life in this game. If I see who voted no, myself I can easily abstain from these characters and players. Furthermore, I don't want to ignore the effort for about several months from Alligator Pit, all ethically I don't. Unlike other people here, I acknowledge Revolution as a chance for a new and better era of Serious Sam classics and we're on a good way to build up a bigger network. Many people do not seem to get, that Revolution is in beta stage so far:
"WARNING: This game is currently an Early Access beta. While most of the game is feature complete, please do not purchase it unless you want to actively support development of the game and are prepared to deal with serious issues and possible interruptions in game functioning."
According to this quote, I don't even know why some of you have already purchased it, can't you read?
All of us should allow Alligator Pit some leeway in their conduct, we can even be happy that they are contanuously working on it because otherwhise, we would not even talk about Serious Sam classic anymore. And when I see posts like "you can kiss my ass/feet, whatever" then I'm just happy that those persons won't play Revolution and hopefully leave the community as soon as possible. I could also try to put everything down, but that would be too easy.
My post won't change anything on the range of options here but I want to show appreciation towards people who care about a future and steadily improve Revolution.

What I dont get is how they took ss : tse and made it WORSE with revo, how can you take a badly coded game and make it worse??? beta or not

Its been in BETA for 2 years, thats half the time between every new GTA and although they havent the investment or skill of rockstar, they should have made better advances than this.

Every server is constantly dead whenever I check, WTF? I dont care if my opinion matters to anyone but ive expressed it

For me the only reason why we shouldn't play on rev is because of that not everyone who wish to play has got rev, but maybe I'm wrong and everyone who wants to play already have it. I know it's still not that good and has bugs and things that make it hard to play for some players and for some players not. Even though we should try it on rev. I also has a problem with mouse not actually working like it should but for sake of saving classic from death I'd suggest to do this in rev. I surely agree with QS as well.
