Meta gonna burn his CPU to push his score to that 20K range
sounds pretty nice, free performance

damn whenever I enter this thread, I feel myself soooo fucking newb about alla this stuff... damn had been with pc for the half of my life, and still I dont really understand, what are you guys speaking about in here
Tell a pussy boy that I said, "Step back"
Motherfucker wanna talk, but I'm gettin' the bag

I'm makin' moves, and now they comin'
'Cause I'm gettin' some bread
But you weren't there when I was broke
And now you think that we friends
Forget it
your motherboard has a dedicated driver which is called BIOS, that's what you see when you press Del (or other depending the mobo) before your computer boots Windows
In this BIOS you can apply plenty of customization to your hardware such as increasing your CPU's frequency to improve your computer's performance. Most of the time the option to do that is called a multiplier, which simply means if you want your CPU to go 4,8 Ghz you'll use a multiplier of x48
But increasing the clock provocates overheat, you can reduce the heat by reducing the VCore value which is the voltage of the CPU cores combined (if i'm right, someone correct me if i'm wrong). You have to find a value between stability and reasonable temperature (see Amco and I's conversation) if you lower too much the voltage the PC will crash at booting or at stress peak.
then the BIOS also allows you to overclock the RAM frequencies (see your hardware specs) or other things such as fan speed and so on.
On my old/ancient Pentium E6300 i overclocked using FSB Clock)) I remember I had it at 266 MHz or something (small overclock coz I had stock cooler lol) And I don't see the reason why in recent motherboards they removed the option to overclock by FSB!
P.S.: MAN don't tell Forsaken about overclock when he doesn't know these things, he can brick his PC!)
Oops you got me) Well when I took this motherboard (MSI X570 Gaming Plus) the Realtek Universal drivers on their page didn't work for some reason lol (no audio). I put older drivers and I have no problem at all since then! I don't have any choice in X570 really, BOTH ASRock and Asus (some) for example have the most retarted design I have seen, I can't believe someone approved chipset fan to be blocked from main PCIe slot (sits under GPU)!! Chipset fan is not a good thing yes but MSI has proven to have a human design so I took it) AND I made the right choice, had to swap from a previous ASRock motherboard that was seriously overheating in chipset area to realize that... Idk about overclock, I do not bother doing it because .... Ryzen 5 runs at 4.2 GHz on 1.1V which I am very happy with) and RAM at 3200 MHz 16-16-18-36 1.35V
do you have a ryzen 3600?
