New DM maps

Hi!

I got an idea to make some new DM maps for Serious Sam 4 because SS4 really needs some good DM mod so I decided why not do the maps for SS1 Classic first before I make a SS4 DM mod. My hope is that some of my maps are going to be good enough to be added to map rotation for some chill evening DM.

For now the first map is almost ready for testing so if anyone would like to organize some DM to play the map and see what is alright and what can be improved. I'll be making maps for TFE first because of Egypt and then I'll port them later to TSE once I make some TSE maps as well, I'll make some duel maps too. All maps will follow Doom, Quake and Serious Sam Deathmatch rules for gameplay and map layout.

So if anyone is up for some DM on the new map when can you all play?

I know. It still uses vanilla ss3 settings which I would like to change in favor of ss1/sshd settings and stats. But the point of this thread is to get some players for testing DM maps that I'm working on for SS1 Classic.

if thats SS4 DM then im fairly disapointed, it doesnt look different from UT99 :haha:

Convert new SS2 (which came since the latest patch) DM maps to TSE instead. :P

That is a good idea Zeo. I will definitely do that as well. Would you like those ss2 dm maps to have ss1 textures and models or ss2 textures and models just converted to classic?

Second one if possible! I'd really love to play it, and on previous SS2 DM maps which already existed in that game, like Little Trouble. With SS1 physics would be so much fun!

(I meant converting to the classic TSE, not HD ^^)
