    Looks great!



    But don't forget to most important feature... that it works online. Dr. Zlo made a great mod but unfortunately you always get bad syncs when you play it..

    We tested it. But it's better to test with guy who had sync probles all the time with zlo's mod. I did had NOT that (much). Maybe i was just lucky with dre's Hope not

    I have a new feature to suggest:


    Ability for the server to turn heart & 200 armor ON/OFF!

    I know runners will hate this but I think it would be much fairer in clan battles... I hate how people always time then in LT, just sucks. The players with the best Rolex will always get HUGE advantage.


    Of course this has to be server configurable again, otherwise runners wouldn't play this mod..

    Yeah...I had bad syncs every 5 minutes ( or less ) when I tried this mod Who else had bad sync problems ? I could test it with him , and set kick on bad sync off but pause on. So if a bad sync shows , we can both print out sync infos ( cli_bDumpSync = 1 ) and then I can check the txt files to see where it differs

    This sync shit is so weird .. for example if I decide to make the player spawn on a random marker right after he chose his team I would get bad syncs , but what annoys me is that it's not ALWAYS , and THAT is really strange.

    That's why I made the player spawn at the exact same place after he chooses his team (until I fix it).

    About the railgun , why not add it to the sniper when not sniping ? Maybe I can even render the ray ( I have a strange thought Take the lazer ray , change its color and scale it ) , restore normal precision and damage ( a railgun shot usually hurts )

    I'm done for tonight there's depardieu on TV , but tomorrow I'll upload two trailers in polls , one about the sniper/railgun, the other about the lazer/plasma

    anyway i suggest you to dont put any shit like music (since i've been a good player, i never used any music..) more size, etc..

    what about netcode? it will be fixed by a simple mortal?

    It's not much work it's useless..Those sounds come from Unreal btw not quake...(except that "humiliation" when you cut someone in CSS , this one comes from quake) If speed was around he could explain how they did it but I guess I have to check the time between frags and play the sound locally ( when you kill 2 players in Quake and you hear "Excellent!" , it's played only for you , isn't it ? The other clients don't hear that sound do they ?)
    I'll do these little useless features only if I have time ( which is unlikely but we'll see )

    I wasn't talking about map soundtracks, these are added by the mapper when you make the map

    And about the netcode , you can't do anything , croteam didn't release the code of it
