The Biggest Crybaby in the History of Sports: C. Ronaldo

    Top 10 sporting cry babies

WELCOME to the biggest sob story of them all.

But before I reveal the top 10 blubbers from the world of sport, let me run over some ground rules.

This is strictly MEN only. We expect the ladies to shed a tear now and again. What we enjoy is seeing the so-called hard men of sport dropping their guard and getting a little misty round the peepers.

So sorry Paula Radcliffe, Jana Novotna, Marion Jones, dry your eyes, you're not for this list.

Secondly, the waterworks need to have been turned on in the most public of arenas possible, a world championship, an Olympics, a cup final.

So Paul Merson stand down, Michael Vaughan put away your hankie, Hansie Cronje rest easy, your press conference revelations are safe from scrutiny here.

That's enough explanation, let the tears begin.

    1 Cristiano Ronaldo - Football

NOT so much a Portugeezer as a Portugirlie!

Come on Cristiano, nobody needs to cry this much.

In our picture above, Crissy the cissy is being comforted by Portugal team-mate Tiago after defeat by Greece in the final of Euro 2004.

But it doesn't end there. As you will see from our pictures below, his face is no stranger to the moisturising effect of natural leakage from the eyes.

    2 Andre Agassi - Tennis
    3 Paul Gascoigne - Football
4 Matthew Pinsent - Olympic oarsman
    5 John Terry - Football
    6 Oliver McCall - Boxing
    7 David Beckham - Football
    8 Mika Hakkinen - Formula 1
    9 Tiger Woods - Golf
    10 Pete Sampras - Tennis

I still remember that like yesterday.... The Italian fans acted very poorly there imo, cheering like hell when Häkkinen crashed from 1st place.

The Sun also mentioned that incident:

Nipping off into the bushes for a quick blub, Hakkinen thought he was safe from prying camera lenses.

But the not so flying Finn hadn't counted on the all seeing eye of the TV helicopter circling above.

As it turned out, the only thing Hakkinen ended up blowing on the day was his nose as a month later he was crowned F1 king.

Btw gotta miss those press conferences with Häkkinen and Schumi.. They always had fun there, laughing etc... Nowadays the drivers are f*cking robots there.

schumi cried because somebody died, somebody he had admired when he was young, cuz senna truely was a great driver and schumi achieved the same success as senna did. theres nothing wrong with crying cuz one lost his friend...

im sure you pricks would laugh in that situation, wouldnt you?
    oh you already did laugh..

and hakkinen was close to crying too, hence he gave over to ralf, this time i wont make fun of him, that must have been a hard time for those involved who knew him personally

Yeah but that was 2000 Italian GP press conference...

That Senna incident was back in 1994. And we alll know what happened in the podium of that race (Imola)... Schumi was celebrating like there' no tomorrow...

back then schumi didnt know the severity of senna's injury , in fact he didnt know at all if he was injured..

just for the record, senna died in the hospital several hours after the race

but its a common habit of schumi haters to bring this up and hold this against him...
