yep. CoD2 still is the best one.

Modern Warfare was MUCH better than COD2

It has :

- (Much) Better graphics
- A better gameplay, more weapons, grenades etc..
- More diversity in missions, loved the infiltrations
- A better Multiplayer
- A better scenario but I guess it's all preference if you prefer World War 2

You're probably right since I've never played COD2 multiplayer, I just heard and read..

I tested COD4 mp but I didn't like it. I usually play this game only for the solo/coop mode.

And no need to mention the 1.6 players and their hostility towards source

I think it's safe to say that in general it's really difficult to resign yourself to moving to a new game and adjusting to its gameplay once you reached a good level.

And damn that game is still active as hell (unlike Sam). Due to the Autodownloader available in COD2 it's got the most mods/maps I've seen in any MP yet.

Well, CS might have even more maps As its impossible to know the exact amount.
But hell you should definitely give Cod2Mp a try. Though you shouldn't throw your Cod4 key away either as its got a great MP too (I've played it at my friends house)
