Found another bug:

The game crashes if you try to play 1.05/1.07 demos.

edit: It also seems to crash with 1.08 demos. Gotta check into that.

Yeah, a build version is a 'full' version but not a 'final' version. A beta is a stripped-down version, like a demo..There's even build versions of beta versions, like Promod for example

If steve meant 'final' by saying 'full' then no I think Angelo added a build number for a reason and I'm sure he'll release as many updates as necessary until all the bugs are fixed, because they will be fixed

Anyway I just tested it and didn't find any bugs but the server was very laggy, so the patch is all good for me at the moment

Im not able to join any 1.08 server. Im getting: "Trying to stabilize connection" and then nothing happens. Serious sam simply freezes and doesnt respond. I did try to join server multiple times, everytime i got Trying to stabilize connection or game crash.

I tested it in split screen mode and this is what I found :

Wound sounds bugs up pretty early and won't play after a while when you get hurt.

Flamer generates a shitload of these messages to console when fired :

Arrows # SinceLast <Float> SinceLastNew?? 0.000000

I don't know what that is, but something tells me that it ain't intended.

another bug: when i connected to a 1.07 server i managed to join but then my sam crashed.

anyway, will you fix those bugs, Angelo? :

-it's not possible to add use and sniperzoom to one button. i can use "use" and zoom on separate buttons but not on 1 cause the zoom won't work then. bit it's a good thing to have single commands for all functions. the use function just must be combinable with the sniperzoom function.
-i always start with first person although i have set start with 3rd
-i first select chainsaw then knife, flamer then sniper
-the santa still dies more than one time

Same with aquarius,when i try to join 1.07 server on 1.08,i manage joinin' there,but game crashes after "trying to stabilze connection" text.I removed the patch untill next fix be released

well i have this, too but it's normal that you can't play on 1.07 with the new patch. the only bug is that you can join and that the game crashes.
