Alright, Im down to either the blackwidow, Thermaltake Tt eSPORTS MEKA G1, or the Cherry eVolution STREAM you suggested. It appears to be that on the blackwidow you can actually change any key to a macro with the software it comes with, and that means that i should be able to change the app/menu key to a macro of CTRL, and then enable ctrl to be crouch in sam. The thermaltake has a good warranty and is good quality from the reviews. And of course the cherry is flat which is something i really like. Now the only thing is, how good are the cherry mx blue switches for gaming? How do they compare to the mx blacks? I heard that it takes a while for you to adjust to the tactile "bump" of the blues when gaming, and it makes it a bit harder to move. Would you say this is true or you can get used to it pretty quickly?
blacks are the typicall ego shooter keys but blue is also awesome. the best are mx clears imo. blue is absolutely playable. some people say that it's not so good for double tapping but it's a minimal difference to the blacks ( less than a mm) and I didn't need long to adjust to the mx blues and had no problems with it. and writing with mx blues is a dream

WOW but I would rather invest the money in a high-end tower pc![]()

Yeah so after like a week im giving up on finding a mech keyboard, so I will go with scissor switches. This is the keyboard im looking at right now: https://www.zippy.com/K_PRODUCT_DETAI...=275&x=10&y=10 fits my needs, although I dont like the small shift and backspace keys. Do you guys think its a good choice and if maybe there are any other scissor switches that actually have the right control key like in the above keyboard but also have a big backspace key and normal sized arrows? Im fairly sure there aren't any, but im not too good at searching google so maybe you all could find something.
what is special with this ctrl-key?

Well you see how its to the left of the shift key, a little further from the left arrow? That's the main thing i want in a gaming keyboard since this kind of ctrl placement makes it easier for my fat pinky to press it. I game with the arrow keys BTW.

And this one i looked at, but the layout of keys is crap.
All this discusion about uber pro gaming stuff and you bought a simple illuminated keyboard? ^^
yep, this one is great. the only better one is this one https://www.keyboardco.com/keyboard_d...sp?PRODUCT=814
and it's not about getting better in games with this keyboard. it's just a pleasure to use a "real" keyboard )

Your version of keyboard has "none standard" layout ...it lacks the numeric keyboard part...

Das Keyboard .. - still beats it ....

Just agree...
There were no "NEW" technologies in keyboard area...
sure there were something new... but only to chip it out... not to make it better...
Das keyboard - is exactly what anyone needs ... its an old mechanical keyboard with new stuff in it ...
I've 15 year old kebo right now for 2 euro ...mechanical...IBM..
today - you have to pay 200 euro for exactly one...
--------------- Post added at 15:44 ---------------
or you buy the kebos with back light ... and be happy with it ...
pushing "dead flesh" ... as any rubber based keyboard....
--------------- Post added at 15:54 ---------------
FYI .. mechanical keyboard key press - is related to force is applied to it ...and its constant in many years...
rubber key press keyboard - as mechanical ... have almost the same properties ... until rubber starts to dry out...
15 year old mechanical keyboard - still does the job as it supposed to ...
i've replaced over 7 rubber keyboards in past 10 years....
so choose one ...
in russian there is an expression ... stingy - pays twice ...
means ...
if you are stingy now to get a "GOOD" keyboard ... - yo'll spend same money again in few years...for the same product....
...
It means if you a re fukcing stupid - you'll buy 2 or more keyboards in comming years...
if you are smart ..you'll get just 1...for next 20 years...

agree 100% beside that filco is better. I chose the tenkeyless one on purpose, look here https://www.keyboardco.com/keyboard_d...sp?PRODUCT=751 but "das keyboard" is very good indeed
you don't really need more
