    New PC setup

I've decided to build a new second PC. I've bought peripherals as follows:

    Intel Core i5 3470 3,2GHz 6MB L3 cache LGA1155
Gigabyte GA-B75M-HD3 (Intel B75 Express Chipset)
Zotac GeForce GT440 AMP! Synergy Edition 2GB GDDR3 (taken from my older PC)
Corsair DDR3 8GB/1600MHz (2*4G VENGEANCE CL9-9-9-24 Low Profile Blue Heatspreader
    OCZ Vertex 2 SDD 64GB 285/270 MB/s + Western Digital 500GB HDD SATA II WD5003ABYX RE4 7200RPM 64MB cache.
Corsair Builder Series CX 500W Modular PSU C80+(CP-9020059-EU)
A random PC case: Tracer Vector TRO-198

Feel free to comment, suggestions regarding configuration are appreciated.

in my eye the configuration is
    i5 processor
    2gb graphics
    8gb ram
    500gb hard disk space
    and a cabinet or case

    can't understand anything else
and i think heard of 7200RPM in hard disk (maybe normal one have 5400RPM) & 6mb cache in processor

and in my opinion a pc with this config can't be beaten in any aspect (maybe there out some but i will be very very happy with this pc )
Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

To be honest it's a decent configuration. A kickass PC would be built using the fastest i7, GTX 680, maybe 2x for SLI and a Z77 chipset mobo with enchanced overclocking capabilities.

The motherboard on Z77 chipset would be more useful and perform better, but they're more expensive and I don't need to overclock the i5, nor do I need a simple RAID 0 or 1 setup (I'd rather buy an external Raid controller with Raid 5 capability than spend more cash on a motherboard which only supports RAID 0 and 1.

B75 Express still allows to setup memory timings, which is essential for the Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz CL9 sticks (normally 1600MHz ValueRams have CL11 as a standard).

I don't know if a SLI or a Crossfire are even needed for anything... I've got a AMD HD7870 and every games are running well without FPS loss, movie registering and encoding too. Aren't SLI and Crossfire to connect secondary screens?

The Graphics card has been taken from my older PC, which now is mainly set for office work and some basic server functions (databases etc.). That's why I didn't buy a new one. If I did, it would probably be the one of GF 6 GTX series (200$+).

Actual PC with i5 as mentioned above, wasn't built for gaming. I work on this PC, connecting to main server, office stuff, photo editing (photography is my hobby and it's quite nice to have a fast PC to perform RAW conversion and later post processing).
