    Some bhop

    Recorded a little video of some bhop... For those who does not play CSS, bunnyhopping "bhop" consists at jumping from platform to platform... non stop and without falling of course. If we fall or if we stop on a platform, we're automaticly respawned at the begining of the serie. Some series might be very easy, but some others implicates to always keep the good speed (being able to increase or decrease it when necessary) and a good endurence and control.

    This map was not so hard... but still some nice series there. Sorry for the bad encodage...

    this video has been recorded with half-size's function on Fraps, maybe MeGUI recognized it and encoded into 720p..
    But Youtube takes a certain time to upload the video, it can even take days. The video is watchable with low performances but the 720p and 1080p are only available later.

    Also, if you look until 2:18 (the colored textures) the rendering is pretty great! Though I don't understand why it gets so glitchy with those textures too. YouTube probably has difficults to handle such colors, and the 30fps conversion does not help either.. Also i've applied a too high gamma correction, It could have been one of the cause too.

    It's very hard to upload a perfect rendered video on youtube, too much different ways to record, too much different ways to encode, so much different codecs... And if you don't convert your video for youtube before uploading it, it's youtube who'll do that for you and you're video's quality will be completely destroyed.

    Honestly, I hate youtube... they seem to like so much to complicate everything... and if for normal people it's 256kbps max for music and 30fps, when you watch an official video or watch a Vevo clip, it looks perfect, well 60fps and 320kbps...

    LOL that looks like a cheap version of the defrag in quake 3/cpma. In that game there is even an annual competition about it, it's about who can get to the end of a map in the minor time.

    Here is one of the matches of the "defrag world cup":

    Actually, bunny hopping is a way of movement first introduced in quake, UT and some other fps, in cs it was an error of the graphic engine.

    At least my definition is good for CS, because i've described the only things we can do with "bunny hopping" in this game. After, I'm not the one who called it this way, if the CS's bhop has nothing to do with Quake or UT's bhop, i'm not the one to blame for having given the same name...

    Is that no-slowdown? Looks really simple compared to CS 1.6 bhopping.
