Do you hawe some amd system ready to test? I wonder what your framerates are depending on certain situations and persistence of stuttering, when large fps drops occur.

my gpu runs sam @ 20W it isnt even recognized as 3D game, therefore it doesnt even display fps - sam runs literally like a desktop appliaction with 144Hz

type /hud_istats=1
in console, you'll see fps counter on the top.

And yes, GPU max usage is 27%-30% and Ryzen gets max 17%.

Ok some weird things happening. Typical AMD.

FPS drops in sirius semen (what is the situation in the seme?).

Little Trouble Roof view fps:

OpenGL 1920x1080 - 145-155fps
OpenGL 4:3 1280x1024 - 180-190fps
D3D 1920x1080 - ~200fps
D3D 4:3 1280x1024 - ~235fps

The problem is even more complex when you or your opponent starts to shoot with double barrel shotgun (shotty as pidoratas slang, i apologise for .ru) - every shot causes 30-40 fps drop - if you or your oponent hit like 5-6 times, the fps can dramatically drop by 100-150fps, depending on how many players are in game.

This causes horrible stuttering and the worst thing - mouse delay, especially when shooting shotgun. It's hard to hit when this occurs.

I changed the card to AMD just because I upgraded to Ryzen and received alot of system hangs. After bios update, everything seems to be ok rofl. I'll think of selling this utter crap and use my old GTX660 or just get some cheaper geforce. I only play Quake Live and Sirius Semen few times a month.

We can do some testing. Yes, the fps drop and weird mouse delay causes aim problems. I need to test D3D with different settings today and see if it solves the problem.

not solve direct 3d too,only plaiyng in windows give some good performance,but still i can't play decent.

We can do some testing. Yes, the fps drop and weird mouse delay causes aim problems. I need to test D3D with different settings today and see if it solves the problem.

That problem appears only on SS-Classic, especially when you have plenty of 3D models on screen to render and shitty PC (like my laptop) can't handle that than you get some input latency. With SS-HD (or QL for example) everything works smooth 'coz games are better optimised imo

With AMD in same range you can get even more latency for some reason.

how can i run windowed in 4k? the window is little as fuck,guess sam is not ready for this xD

D3d runs full screen at 144 hz. D3d gives higher fps on my setup. The problem occurs when shooting with shotgun, it causes 50-250 fps drop depending on how many shots are done at the same time. Gibs and blood cause even more drops. The game feels stuttery and there's a mouse delay at these moments making it hard to hit your opponent with shotgun

D3D gave me a very glitchy rendering with my RTX, I had to switch to OpenGL to get back a playable state, I struggled to get 144hz back though but it works now, in full screen

I did some tweaks in the d3d settings tho and it gave me some more fps, not many, but at least + instead of - amount

Weird shit: when observing people playing a match I don't encounter weird stuttering and the fps rate doesn't drop so much...
