What a shame. System started to crash on new GPU too, same shit with graphics card driver. After some checking I finally found (hopefully) a solution. The problem laid on memory timings and additional memory settings... I used Ryzen Memory Calculator and carefully changed all the memory settings in bios. Suddenly system started to run stable, no matter what I do.
XMP on AMD boards = nightmare and pure bullshit. Need to count everything manually.
Where r my 115e? and now we Have a Problem.

I updated my mobos BIOS to the newest version. The CPU settings and reacting to peak power changed alittle bit. EDC dropped from 163 to 140. I tweaked the AMD power plan alittle, so it doesn't do 4Ghz as minimum all the time and EDC is at around 60% while idle.
No crashes so far, but it might happen just anytime...
There's no rule when it comes to crash, it crashes while browsing the inet or switching through the windows most of the time, but also crashed once while rendering a video (maybe because I switched between windows during that time). Never crashed while playing games tho...
It crashes on small loads and almost always throws GPU driver/directX driver. Impossible that both GPU's are faulty (old gtx 660 and new rx5500).
I used sfc /scannow and it found some corrupted files. Fixed them and hopefully this also fixes this pathetic problem.

I just bought a new PC before lockdown and received the components at my parents. My Brother built it for me the time I go back home so I won't play with that new PC in a while, I'm stuck with my potato 4gb Geforce 920m laptop. But here are the new Specs
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450i AORUS Wi-Fi
CPU (processor):AMD Ryzen 5 1600 AF Wraith Stealth Edition (3,2 GHz)
Memory: (16 GBs) G.Skill Value NT DDR4 2 x 8 GB 2133 MHz CAS 15
Graphics Card(s): Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 (yeah I have this old one because it's my brother's old card, it allowed me to save some money). If he didn't have this card I'd have taken the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1650 Super WindForce OC.
Hard Drive(s)/SSD(s)
- SD for OS : Crucial BX500 - 240 GB
- HDD : Seagate BarraCuda - 1 To - 64 MB
Power Supply: 520W - can't remember which one it is. It's my brother's old power supply, to save some money again
PC Case: Cooler Master Elite 130 (it's a mini-ITX one). Space saving
OS: Windows 10 - 64 bits
Mouse: Have to buy one yet
Keyboard: Have to buy one yet
Headphones: N/A
Speakers: N/A
Display monitor: Have to buy one yet
the mainboard and cpu are pretty good, the 1600 AF is basically a 2600 - i wonder hoch much u paid for these 2 parts ( i have the same mainboard btw)
otherwise the memory is pretty bad, the cpu will perform 30% slower compared to 3200Mhz Ram Sticks and neither the GTX 760 or 1650 Super is considered any good in 2020
just one SSD with 240GB for OS is totally fine but then 1TB HDD for gaming is total pain i promise you
call of duty alone hits 170 GB space and also other games require 70 GB+ each
i'd have taken at least 3000Mhz Ram and an RX 580 / GTX 1660 series
and then do yourself a favor - game on a 144Hz monitor
hm sad. just stay a "legend" on gz these days. inactive since decades or activ as "Alias" with vpn lol.
Thanks for the feedbacks AmcoTraD.
Yeah I had a pretty low budget to make a way better pc than I actually have. I paid around 530 euros for the total (because I didn't pay the graphic card and the power supply, otherwise it would have been around 800), screen mouse and keyboard excluded.
I don't have the goal to play very late games so that's why I do not need a bigger HDD than 1 To. My main use are for SS:C, SS:F which I would like to play more because with current one it's a bit complicated. Also Blender and maybe some other recent games but not like 2020 or 2019 games. At least for the moment. I think I can still upgrade RAM and HDD or even GPU later on when I have some more money and if I want to play more recent games ofc.
Yeah I've heard about 144 Hz monitors, but is it really needed if my main use is SS? I mean do these games even support 144 Hz frequency?
fortnite requires 70 GB of free space and a 144 hz monitor for that game is extremely important otherwise u get rekt like i rekt u back in the days in serius semen
good hardware doesnt have to be expensive, i get 16gb ram 3200mhz for 55€ or 500gb ssd for 50€, also an rx 580 costs you 90€
yes serious sam works on 144hz, on nvidia its plug and play
