New tournament

Hey, I was thinking to create a 1on1 tournament with Pro|mappack, very often played amongst the russian community. Simple question, yes or no?

Maps would be

Pro| The Lost Tomb
Pro| Fortress
Pro| Sunpalace

Would be something new and interesting.

I'd like to see international players participate too even though the maps are pretty much only played by the russians.. The maps are really cool, try 'em!

good idea, but these maps suck except TLT.
Fortress is too big for 1v1 and Sun palaca is too unbalanced due to heart and armor, which located on the one side of the map

Pro|Fort is big yeah, but I had some game with HV in it and it was nice imo (atleast better than original fortress for 1on1). Anyway about Sunpalace, it's all about control I think. It's very easy to get control, but you lose it very easily too. Almost purely aim map in my opinion, we can expect many airnades and rockets Anyway we need something refreshing to the tournaments, and this would be imo.

lets play maps that havent been played before in any tournaments, like yodller and what else is in pro map pack and ye SP is a lovely map

ok, then i wont play in these maps. The only maps in ss which is good for 1v1 is tlt and lt.Shotty_power is good also and maybe Pro_Level. Others are too big or unbalanced.

Sun palace is unbalaced due to supers location
fortress is too big and unbalaced due to 200 armor which appears in evere 20 sec.
Hole is too big
Yodler is too open. When u respawn after death without weapon ur enemy see you and kill u again and it can last for a long time

Sunpalace is unbalanced yeah, but you can lose control of the map so easily that it's not SO unbalanced, that it couldn't be played in tournaments.

U can lose control in sp but ur victory or ur loss can depend from ur place of respawn. If u spawned near super, u take it and can sit on it for 10 min and make a lot of frags during this. map is same, but ur skill, ur aim, ur reaction and strategy matters less then place of ur first respawn.

better make a 2v2 tourney or one more clan tourney on these maps or shotty 1v1 on complex, trouble and power, but this is shit , really. these maps arent for 1v1
