    Yes, it's slow because PS2 is 128bit, and your pc is max 64bit (as i readed somewhere)

    If the game is really old you can use a virtual machine with windows xp installed. I played very old games like that.

    I'm suprised that You didn't know about virtual machines before...

    And yes, it does support Fullscreen, but for the best performance use VMWare Player.

    With VMWare you can do everything you did with your old pc. Fullscreen, too ofc. It captures mouse and keyboard input and it's like you really would use an old Windos OS on an old pc.
    Also the performance is pretty good now. There is even 3d support. I played Sam there just for fun. I have Win7 on my PC and WinXP in the virtual machine. I had about 60 fps in VMware but a few hardware lags
