Well the effect is much much better and more realistic if you are on moving chair synced with animation instead of home 5 euro plastic chair like on other videos. Feeling must be epic

yep the chair is programmed to obey the video so as i said its really like the reality, the only thing that was missing was the wind, then it would be top class

but theres nothing else (yet) for the oculus rift so far, only a lousy game and this coaster animation..

Doom 3 is already designed to support Oculus system

ofc it will take alot of time and effort but i think soon enough (5 years at least mb) games that are sold will fully support oculus systems

By that time though I'm guessing there's gonna be something better (or at least Oculus Rift 2.0), but yeah this is probably the future of video games

there are already many games for oculus, but most of them indie...
Also you can run many games NOT designed for oculus on it, but you need to adjust settings yourself. Serious Sam Classic would look pretty cool (i've tested with red/cyan glasses - effect will be similar)

well 1 day i hope to step into the room that would simulate the game, so you put on a special helmet or even them rift glasses and then you step onto some run pad that lets you run in all directions without actually moving from the place you are standing(running) on and play shooters like that would be pretty amazing with a gun in your hands

lol ye the pron industry would be interested, too probably. And btw Unreal Tournament 4 will be free and will also support Oculus Rift.
