    Overclocking screen refresh rate

So i've been searching for it, for around 2 months now. Finally found some decent program, and overclocked my laptop screen from 60hz to 75 !
Unfortunatelly, interface and 3d apps started to freak out, jitter, even at only 5hz OC. I guess i can't OC it on my current laptop, and i think it's caused by hardware.

If you want to OC your 60hz screen, here's the link to article:

    Overclock at your own risk.
I imagine Jay OCing his 144hz screen to, let's say 180

in 144hz case it would make no sense, cos the more hz you get the more fps you need to handle em, and since it's already hard to get more than 144 fps...

    nice guide though

144Hz is enough and imho it's max possible on those panels (Iiyama has the same screen model as Benq X 144Hz series and Asus), just some different additional anti flickering/anti motion blur/anit input lag technologies.

With 160+ you'd prolly burn your monitor lol.

All in all, 144Hz is still enough to have a great motion feeling without input lag. In QL I get 240+ fps anyway so... and I play on low graphic settings/1024x768 res . 4:3 works better for me and all these low detailed graphic settings make things more visible (sharp glowing green models on smooth map textures) and less eye-straining.
Where r my 115e? and now we Have a Problem.

I've "overclocked" my CRT 14Hz using PowerStrip, but yeah, after 120hz it doesn't make much of a difference. As for laptops, I think I've seen one somewhere that OCd to more than 120Hz :O
