    Post [Enemies Resource / Replacement Mod] Headmen Old Flesh Edition

    Hey guys! As I promised to be more active here, I have something for players and mappers.

    I present to you some new resources that ZynChroMaTiK and myself made!

    There is a replacement mod, and a resource mod for mappers, both of them are independent from each other...

    - This is a replacement mod of original Beheaded enemies.
    Note: the replacement mod doesn't support custom attachments, as long as the custom attachments must be set up through the SDK. That's why there exists a resource mod.

    Additional information

    1. Install and use
    1. Extract "Headman_Old_Flesh_Edition_TSE_VX.XX" content in Serious Sam - Second Encounter main directory.
    2. Open Serious Editor.
    3. In your virtual tree, create a new folder.
    4. Press right click in your virtual tree and click insert item.
    5. Seek out Classes\AlphaHD\HeadmanAlphaHD.ecl.
    6. Open your world.
    7. Drag and drop the EyemanAlpha from your virtual tree.

    2. Notes

    Netricsa data:

    - As long as implementing the model display in netricsa message requires to edit GameMP.dll, this version can not display the models with new textures.

    User note:

    - To be able to make your own enemy class, you must invoke the function InitParticles(); in MainLoop in EnemyBase.es

    btw are you familiar with XPLUS Serious Sam? its not exactly a mod but more like a stand alone game with edited files to make the game look pure HD https://www.serioussite.ru/load/xplus_vitek_39_s_sandbox_v1_0/29-1-0-2304

    I loved it so much that I replayed entire campaign from first person view because even weapons are satisfying to look at. Also if you feel bored and would like to take on a challenge do you think you will be able to create something like this for The second encounter campaign?

    VITEK is an excellent modder and makes really great content. I haven't played XPLUS Serious Sam but I've seen some screenshots and videos. It's like a Serious Sam HD into the Serious Sam Classics.

    But yeah - everything is possible! I mean... it's straight possible to make something like this for The Second Encounter... Some HD textures, some HD models (even your own that you create) as replacement, or standing in a mod.

    You know, I have been getting more familiar with SDK and Modeler. Though my C++ and 3D modeling skills are still quite weak. But I feel able to code some new enemies, even standing for vanilla TSE (through extra dll's). As for 3D models, I've been cooperating with Spy's Cr3ed who's a great modeler. My work is just to set them up in the Serious Modeler . I have plans, and ambitious projects/ideas for the future such as implementing new enemies using brand-new enemy models, animations, textures...100% creation...compatible for vanilla TSE and/or standing in a mod.

    For the moment, I'm giving my time and efforts in Next Encounter Project (see end of the post), my 5-levels campaign (called Jacob's Rest) that's coming on May 30th, and an additional cooperative map that should see daylight before the end of the year.

    By the way, if you want more content, I am also developing with Mkbewe and complete Next Encounter remake (complete recreation of Gamecube's Next Encounter) for classic TSE. You can check it out here!

    you work with Mkbewe? i dont think anyone took that guy serious but you seem pretty serious haha, Next encounter is definitely something id love to play on PC, i still have it for my PlayStation 2 i love different ammo variations and all its a cool game, also vehicles is a nice implementation. But yeah texture remaking like in VItek's mod is incredible as it gives the game an entire new look without changing ANYTHING about the gameplay, and since TSE is my favorite childhood game, i would simply love to relive it in HD look just like FE.

    Yeah, I do, and we are more than two working on it. I never had any problem working with him and he is a really cool guy!

    Next Encounter for TSE will stand as a map pack and not as a mod. There will neither be enemy recreation nor vehicle implementation. Therefore, you'll be able to download weapon skins if you wish!

    Exactly.

    And if anyone, after release, is up to make a mod with recreating vehicles and enemies and stuff...Why not! We just want these maps to support unmodded TSE.

    @Prottoss,

    These are classic maps so maybe you've heard of them but Military Decay and Alpine Mists II: Dust of Ages are must-play maps. Over than that, you could give a try on Ir-Kalla Demo made by Discy, it's a really good one!

    Rakanishu have you ever heard of d-6 mod? it is the first horror mod created for sam I believe and when i was younger tho i did not play it, i found stories of it truly terrifying

    wow, you really made me nostalgic, since I did play those maps a long time ago, and alpine mists was one of my all time favourite maps!!!

    @CLICK, Dust of Ages is just the title of Alpine Mists II, it's the link you shared. But there exists Alpine Mists I for TFE.
    @Prottoss, never heard of d-6 mod but I know "Lost Life" mod which is a horror mod too. Sadly it's an unfinished one and contains only two levels. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64tR_fr4nUA&t=746s
