Yup, I saw your messages when I woke up. Ostap just claiming literally impossible things and blaming them on you, and banning the IP because of that.

Friendly advice: just don't use Ostap and make sure to advertise 333networks and errorirst instead. It is not really impossible to get at least most of the community to use these master servers. Let's make this game alive again.

You probably joined and played during the stress test phases were in act. More specifically the "shaking test" in which Sather / Padrino also took part and lagged most of the times.

It won't make the game much alive, if there's not much people interested to begin with. 70% of interested in playing, won't even bother to look for programs if they're outside of community. Ostap might be fighting some of you, but since his servers are still visible, it doesn't hurt the unsuspecting, random guys, and therefore not affecting the activity by much

I don't know, maybe so. I had ping 210 but no spikes I'll check it later and write here how it feels for me there.

About high ping, that's something I'm experimenting to try fixing the shaking problem for everyone, so not just people who have a specific client fix or people who use specific net settings / special commands.

So what I want is some "generalized" fix (so server-side).

The most recurring problem is that the vanilla game will start to exhibit camera shaking whenever the internal ping reading goes less than around 60 in the game, so what I'm trying to achieve is basically some higher internal ping, by using several methods, like server bps (ser_iMaxAllowedBPS) and server fps (ded_iMaxFPS), and so on.

Friends report much better responsivity and smoothness when I use these settings on my server, even though their ping go a bit high. A friend, who was always having lag problems with SS Classic TSE, regardless of the net script, the commands he was using or the server he was playing in, finally reported full smoothness for the first time ever with the new server settings.

The internal ping in my server should show ~160 ms, or more, when using cli_iBufferActions at 2 on the client, depending also on distance from the server and other factors. Of course I'm still testing so it is very subject to change.

I also don't often open my server, I'll probably open it if my friends need to play.
