no I don't have it, I think it's a waste of money, why would anyone need a watch, if you have a phone - there you can look what time is it

That really depends, especially if you care about how you dress up or not. If you do then you have to follow a certain code in order to find the elegance that you want to display to others. Traditionnal watches are a part of that code as it acts as one of the only jewelry a man can wear (well it's more watchmaking than jewelry but we consider it such due to the more or less precious materials used to craft these).

So yeah you're right in 2020 everyone is watching the clock on their smartphone, but the gesture doesn't have the same charisma the interesting thing with watches is that the choices you do, the watches you chooses to wear reflects your personnality, there's a reason behind your choice, there's a story behind your watch (depending the brand you choose).

But yea everything I said remains subjective, some people cares, some don't, and even if you follow the code, you don't have to follow 100% of it. Just as an exemple lately men started to wear stone pearl bracelets, it's in the trend code but I think it's bullshit for a man to wear such an accessory so yea this universe has a good point: it's completely opinion free.

u care too much about what others think, fuck dresscodes, fuck others - if you like smartwatches just get one

you should be able to get decent ones below 200€ and if you dont like it, just send it back to the retailer within 14 days

gz is just a dead site full of the rest of ss players wich r not able to etablade in other games but u have the Donors to keep it alive

Skyward I wouldn't say that watch is the only jewelry man can wear, what about necklace? I would wear something like this -

Personally I never weared any watch, not a smart one not a usual one, so it's kinda hard for me to say, but as for me it's useless now in 21st century

i shit you not, nobody cares what watch you wear until it's another geek about dresscode, so either you want to impress them, or be fully happy with your choice

I know, which is why I said "one of the only" and not "the only" but once again it's subjective because really men are getting nuts with these pearls everywhere, not sure if it's weird or just ridiculous xD

pretty much the opposite for me, I used to wear one of these silver chain but I couldn't bear feeling it around my neck, so I sold it

Since we got a few connoisseur here, this is my modest watch collection so far. Still not sure about the smart watch yet but lately I have my eyes on a Hamilton Khaki Field 42mm

I like puslar most, then middle seiko and then right seiko

If i was to wear a classic watch, it would be a self-winding mechanical one, piece of art those ones.

it's not about getting attention, it's about improving your elegance and take care of your appearance (and once again it's still subjective because plenty people will find another way to do so than wearing a watch)

if you really want to catch attention with a watch then you buy a fake rolex (200€) and you show it to everyone

funny fact is that the Pulsar is the cheapest, I bought it to wear it at work because I wanted a decently solid watch but the cheapest possible because I knew it would get worn fast enough (G-Shock were too expensive for me). The original leather bracelet was low quality and I broke it one day after, I changed it for this nato and it's perfect now. The chronograph is extremely easy and practical to use and helps me to bake the bread exactly how I want it. Since then it's getting in contact with dust/flour, water, soap, plenty products and there's no signs of wear. Quite satisfied so far especially for that price (80€).

agree, i feel like the watch is not the only way to show your elegance, anyway watches dont suit everyone either so that needs to be kept in mind too

So I finally choose which smartwatch I want to buy, and I decided it wouldn't be a smartwatch.

Here's my latest find: the Hamilton Khaki Field automatic (42mm)

Thank you ghosty for the 115€ by the way
