Hmm maybe I understood something wrong again. Wasnt he writing about how shitty it is in France? I dont exactly remember what was the point, but there were some changes he didnt like, isnt patriotism when you say how much you love your country and how everything is good there?

Patriotism does not mean to blindly support your country/government, it means bringing the interests of the country first, before anything else.

If I criticize my current government so much it is because they are globalist that sells the interests of France to USA, Germany and China.

this has been Ireland for decades, a while ago I drove on the motorway and on the exit bridge saw protestors with the sign "Ireland is for the Irish" made me giggle

Problem is not with the immigrants per say but the system that doesnt keep them in check. Governments need to be overthrown instead of people fighting among each other, but this is too far fetched of a thought for a common mind to comprehend, and as the range of intelligence keeps increasing, the chance of revolutions comes closer and closer to zero
