Well it depends on what you share with people. With people on the internet I usually don't share much. So with what I share I trust them. Just don't feel any need to tell f.e. Prottoss about money on my bank account.

I always find this argument so wrong, weed is as natural as other poisonous plants, and we don't smoke them, they could kill us with a small dose, same as mushrooms. Further thinking about it, Cannabis' chemicals that makes us high, are actually there to dether rather than encourage consumption it's a natural poison that plant has evolved, and it's just a coincidence that it's not as harmful to humans. Same as coffee, caffeine, poison, deterrent, except that one has no psychoactive effect on human brain.

Trusting people financially is a whole different aspect in my opinion. Money can make people greedy and irresponsible. Whereas telling people secrets about your private life might only make you vulnerable and a bit of a bet at first maybe. But at least we can generally still rationalize.

To a certain degree, yes. Definetly wouldn't say I could get "really close" to someone I've had only internet interactions with. I must know someone in person and even then it would take a long time of development to actually get me really close to that person, which I would call a FRIEND.

I understand what you mean. The best way is always in real life. And in the end the only way to know someone entirely as body language/characteristics give away alot as well we miss when we are just chatting with one another.
