HOW TO USE DedicatedServer.exe

How to use it for SSTSE v1.07

Go to your Serious Sam directory then open \Scripts\Dedicated\DefaultFragmatchSE

set your maps by opening the "begin" scripts (this requires to write the english name of the maps)

then open "init" to configure your game settings

don't forget to save and use DefaultFragmatchSE.exe to run your server as dedicated (loading settings from init)
monitoring window will open when the server is running.

1. Make DedicatedServer.exe shortcut to your desktop
2. Go to "Scripts/Dedicated" folder
3. Go to properties of that shortcut you made before
4. Add your [foldername] at the end of "Target" field

6. Go to your chosen folder
7. init.txt is the settings file, you set most of important stuff there

8. Open (or forward) the port you've set in "init.ini". Remember to open TCP and UDP.
9. Run the shortcut

I guess just make a new text file, name it init.ini and copy-paste the below
25620 will be the port you need to forward
the game will be cooperation with normal difficulty
the server name will be "Fareed Gamers an serwer"

I sent a screenshot for you to understand. At the end of "Target" field in your shortcut's properties, you write the folder's name of the folder that contains your server settings.

For example if your server files are in "C:\GOG Games\Serious Sam The Second Encounter\Scripts\Dedicated\DefaultFragmatchSE" you just add DefaultFragmatchSE in that field at the end, as this is the last folder with all the settings. Check screenshot from previous posts

Not sure if getting the commands to work is not too big of a task for you.

Fot he map:
Go to your dedicated server's folder you've chosen.
1_begin.ini is the file you open with notepad, and there you change the map that's the first map when the server starts.

Previously I said "init.txt" in my messages, but it's "init.ini", apologise for burglary ::FIXET::
